Digital and financial inclusion
We Are Digital works to tackle social exclusion by upskilling vulnerable people with limited technological skills. A much-needed service, as a recent studies show that 44% of European people aged between 16 and 74 years lack basic digital knowledge.
We are Digital helps bridge the divide through high-quality digital and financial group courses, workshops and home trainings, offered by a wide network of outreach tutors. The company works closely together with government departments, corporates, banks and housing associations, that buy the trainings on behalf of their customers and beneficiaries. Due to the digitization of processes and applications, these partners are undergoing a huge shift and want to help vulnerable people access fundamental services.
The inspiring mission of We Are Digital to equip people who risk to be excluded with the skills and confidence needed to enhance their everyday lives in this increasingly digitized world, is linked to the 10th sustainable development goal of the United Nations: “Reduce inequalities within […] countries”.
